PETER BEHRENDT

Executive Director & Owner

Peter BehrendtPeter Behrendt founded the Freiburg Institute. He graduated in work and organizational psychology and is currently conducting his PhD research at the Freiburg Institute on success factors of leadership, coaching and innovation.  He has several years of experience as organizational consultant and as Director of Human Resources. In 2006, Peter Behrendt was awarded the Muwit-Award for the concept of an outstanding HR program, followed by two Great-Place-to-Work-Awards in 2010 and 2011 for his work at Stryker Navigation in Freiburg. In 2012 as well as in 2014 his innovative contributions to the academic field of coaching were nominated as one of the three best coaching concepts and received the German Coaching Award. He holds certificates in coaching, mediation and organizational development and was awarded as "Top Coach 2016" by Xing and Focus Network.

Sandra Singrin

Coach & Consultant

PhotoSandra Singrin, psychologist (M.Sc.), is working as coach and consultant at the Freiburg Institute. She supports innovation and organizational development projects. Furthermore she is committed in the assessment and development center projects as well as in the coaching programs at the Freiburg Institute. Besides her psychology studies at the University of Freiburg with the focus on business psychology, she is qualified and trained in systemic solution-oriented coaching, psychodrama and NLP. During her master studies, she worked as work student in the coaching and innovation projects at the Freiburg Institute and was actively engaged as voluntary coach for scholars at "Rock your Life!". Her master thesis, which focused on the question „Can successful coaching be learned?”, was an empirical survey to advance coaching success factors for coaches in training. Apart from her work, her interests are travelling, photography and literature.

Fabienne Schwarz-Loy

Doctoral Candidate Innovation
Fabienne Schwarz-LoyAs part of her doctorate at the University of Potsdam, Fabienne Schwarz-Loy is doing research work on the success factors of innovation in cooperation with the Freiburg Institute. During her studies in economic and social sciences, education and music (University of Stuttgart, Staatliche Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Stuttgart as well as Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris), she held a scholarship from the German Economy Foundation and could benefit from a comprehensive range of education programs in business psychology. Afterwards she gained work experience in the leadership development at the headquarters of a big company, in socio-educational counselling and in recruiting. She has several years’ experience as trainer in communication, leadership and voice, which is labelled as Voiceprint Training. It is her aim as singer and choirmaster to connect business and music in a meaningful way and to host interesting cultural event types, e.g. in her role as manager of a choral society (chor:werk baden-württemberg e.V.).
